About Us

The Scanlon family began serving the western suburbs in the early 1960’s.  Grandpa Joe was the “root” of the business.  He started landscaping, lawn service and tree work.  He set the bar for excellent customer service that Scanlon’s are now well known for.

Donny joined his father and grew the business through the 1970’s.  We'll even go out on a "limb" to say If talk about trees in the Lake Minnetonka area, Donny’s name will most likely come up.

Donny’s son, Eric, was setting ropes at 12 years old, learning the trade.  Like his father, Eric joined the Navy for his term and then returned to the family “tree.”

Donny’s younger son, Wade, also loved the outdoors, but decided to “branch” out to the landscaping business.

In present day, the fourth generation of Scanlon boys have joined the crew and are “leafing” out into lawn care.
